Does Glen Beck understand the difference between “civil rights” and “rights of the majority”?
Since they are basically polar opposites?
He is advocating “civil rights” :That the government should listen to the will of the majority and do what it wants.
However, the original civil rights movement was about the exact opposite: The government should IGNORE the will of the majority, who wanted segregation, and do what was right, rather than what was popular.
So do Conservatives want to restore this to the US? I sure do, but I thought you guys wanted majority control over everything?
No his total ignorance or great ability to spin the true to suit his own agenda is amazing and insidious .
